Christmas Wishes

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season.  I’ll be taking a two-week vacation to visit my family and will answer all e-mails and phone calls when I return.  In the meantime, I’d like to share a slideshow I made showcasing the clients I had the joy of working with over the past year.  Just click on the image below to view the slideshow.

Jolly…

I can’t think of a better word than “jolly” to describe this little boy.  He was nothing but smiles and coo’s throughout the entire photo session.  Gotta’ love those jolly, happy souls!

Congratulations Brittany… | Hudson, Wisconsin high school senior portraits

I just wanted to send a huge CONGRATULATIONS to Miss Brittany.  I featured her on the blog back in August and look at her now!  One of her photos appeared in an advertisement for La Rue Marche in the December issue of the Minneapolis-St. Paul magazine.  Something tells me this is just the beginning for this beautiful young lady.  Congratulations Brittany!

Three is better than one…

Over the past few years I’ve had several opportunities to work with this family.  However, our past sessions have always been focused solely on the little girl. This time her parents decided to take part in the photo shoot and I’m oh, so glad they did.  Her parents have an amazing outlook on life and they both cherish their family above all else.  What an amazing gift they are giving to their daughter!

On a sidenote:  The mom donated her hair to Locks of Love just days after the session.  Just one example of what this family is all about.

What’s in a name? | Stillwater, Minnesota photography

Oh, how I love this little boy’s name…and the history behind it makes it even better.  Mr. “H” (as I’ll call him) is the grandson of a champion ski jumper.  When pregnant, his parents were visiting the U.S. Ski Jump Hall of Fame and through reading some history of the sport they stumbled across the name.   They mulled it over for a while and came to the conclusion that it was, in fact, “the name”.  Such a cool name for a cool kid!
