All boy(s)…

Those who know me (and my shoe collection) might think a shoot with four young boys would intimidate me.  Never fear, my friends…four boys have nothing on a pair of riding boots made for such an occasion.  I arrived at the shoot ready to wrangle snakes, tree frogs or any other creatures four boys might find in the woods.  Imagine my surprise when I walked in and found four sweet boys waiting oh, so patiently for the photo session to begin.  Throughout our session I kept waiting for chaos to erupt, but would you believe it if I told you these four boys were as good as gold from beginning to end?!  I loved every minute of it!  Thanks again guys for having me out to photograph your beautiful family.  Your property is absolutely gorgeous…it was such a treat to shoot there!

This little guy actually seemed a little bummed to see me go!  I had fun with you too, little man!

Andrea…

Andrea, a River Falls High School senior, is one very busy girl.  She is an incredibely talented flutist and participates not only in band but also in a wind symphony.  Her passion and drive is awe inspiring and made photographing her such a treat.  It’s fun to connect with kids with so much zest for life!  Best wishes to you, Andrea!

Alissa…

Sometimes I feel like I should write a book about the clients I’ve worked with over the years.  I’m constantly fascinated with the stories my clients share with me and I think it would be great fun to look back on them years from now.  Take for example my session with Alissa, a 2010 high school senior at Eden Prairie high school and the granddaughter of a filmmaker.  When her mother called to book the session she expressed her sincere appreciation for the art of photography and could hardly wait for me to work with her daughter.  Alissa and I had a ball walking around town and chatting about her upcoming lead role in the production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie”.  Doesn’t she look the part?!  Alissa, I wish you the very best as you prepare for your debut!

I loved this dress she brought back from a recent trip to Paris!  It made me want to go shopping…in Paris!  :)
