Built in the late 1800's, my studio is home to great history & memories. A childhood dream was realized when I opened my boutique style photography studio loft in this unique space filled with character. The space combined with our location in the quaint downtown area of Hudson, WI offers the capability for custom photography sessions indoors in addition to personalized on-location sites. My signature portrait style consists of simple,

yet strong composition resulting in images that are both honest and highly emotive. Foregoing stiff poses and forced smiles, I interact with subjects in such a way that unveils their distinct personalities. This approach combined with exquisite attention to detail provides for a comfortable and relaxed photo session and extraordinary images.

Sheer Addiction: Part II

A few weeks ago I posted about a commercial project I’m working on for  Sheer Addiction, an incredible jewelry line produced locally in the Twin Cities area.  We just wrapped up the video portion of the ad campaign and I just have to tell you…this particular project was truly a dream come true for me.  I’ve always wanted to be a part of a project like this and the experience was everything I imagined it would be.  Here are a few still shots from our shoot…the video portion is scheduled to arrive any day.  Stay tuned!!

Welcome, baby…

I recently had the opportunity to photograph the newest addition to the Lund family…a beautiful baby girl.  She has three older siblings that absolutely adore her, especially the oldest one who is so very grateful to finally have a sister!  Thanks again, Jennifer, for having me out to photograph your family.  You have such an amazing eye for design and I loved having such a gorgeous nursery to work in while I was there.

A new year…

It only seems fitting to kick the new year off with a blog post featuring a brand new baby.  Beautiful baby Cleo was welcomed home by her loving family just a few weeks before Christmas.  Her mama shares my love for all things paper so I was thrilled when she enlisted my help with the birth announcements.  What a fun project this was for me to work on…I loved every minute of it!  Thanks again, Darcy!
