The Giving Jar…
Some of you may remember The Giving Jar I posted about at the beginning of the month. This year we replaced our traditional advent calendar with a jar filled with 25 “giving tasks” for us to do every day until Christmas. The experiences and opportunities throughout the process have been incredible and our boys gleaned more out of this than we ever dreamed possible. We feel so very blessed to have two such hard-working and compassionate young boys! From all of us at Jamie Schultz Photography & Design Studio, we wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Jamie- for this giving spirit you have inside you God has surely blessed you with many graces. You are an amazing mama and I am so happy to have your inspiration in my life.. truly amazing!!!
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
May you be continually blessed!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing, Jamie!
WOW. I have no words. This is just the BEST thing, not only to actually do this, but to document it. This will be a family treasure for years – the giving AND the video!!
And, you baked and decorated some AMAZING cookies. Wow! You all went above and beyond just with the attention to details to brighten and love on another!
How do YOU do it? I’ll never know.
This is beautiful. And I hope it will be copied by hundreds of families next year. Ours will be.
Jamie: This literally brought tears to my eyes! What an amazing thing you have taught your boys. Giving is way better than recieving. Many blessings this Holiday season to you and your family.
Very beautiful. What a wonderful lesson, not only for your boys, but for all of us who got to see this.
Jamie, I saw you at WPPI this year, almost last year, and I was so impressed with you. But I did not keep up with you throughout the year. I was thinking about my goals for my business next year and your name came to my remembrance. Then I saw this slideshow of your Giving Jar. Now I remember why I was so impressed with you. Thank you for giving the world your brightness. Your boys will be, (are), a blessing to the world as you continue to teach them as I see here. Thank you. I will continue to check on you as the days of 2011 progress.
Bless You and Happy New Year, Janet
